Adventures in Forks, WA

I am SO sorry that I have been MIA for almost a month now. A LOT has happened these past few weeks that have kept me very preoccupied.

For starters, I moved from Seattle, back to Minnesota. So getting all of that in order was time-consuming.

Then I was holding off on posting until I could explain why I rented Twilight last month (which I will explain in this post).

And then, my boyfriend surprised me by taking me up in a hot air balloon where he proposed. The unexpected hype of getting married has kept everything else at bay for WEEKS but I am finally gaining control over my life again. So I am happy to say that after my surprise break I am officially back :)

Now, the reason that I had re-rented Twilight is because I decided to make a trip out to Forks, WA while I was in the Seattle area! I am going to supply some pictures I took because if you were ever a fan of Twilight like I was, then you would appreciate seeing these. NOTHING in the movies were shot in WA. Not a single scene. Something about money issues... So being in Forks myself and seeing all of these houses that are supposed to belong to the characters made the story feel so real to me. It was wonderful and everything actually looked the way that it was supposed to. I highly suggest that any fans should out for a visit if they can because it was one of the most wonderful days of my life! So here are pictures with descriptions and get ready for a montage of posts to come!!

The Forks High School
The sign outside of the hospital which reads "Forks Community Hospital  Dr. Cullen Vampire Parking Only" Haha
 The Swan Residence
Apparently there really are yellow cabinets in the kitchen and the curtains in Bella's room are purplish as you can see :)
 Bella's work
They even had a Twilight station on the radio.
On the right is Bella's truck from the movie and on the left is Bella's truck from the book. I like the book one better personally. It's cute and I can see why she would like it so much.
The original house intended for the Cullens (which was really several miles outside of town as it was supposed to be) burnt down a few years ago. This is the new Cullen house. Positioned right next to the police station ironically enough.
It's an inn where you can stay if you want to. They have Carlisle's office in one of the upper levels to visit but I didn't have time to see it.
T
There were cats everywhere in this town I swear. SO cute :)

Jacob Black's house on the outskirts of La Push. Another place where you can stay and rent if you want.

The first beach in La Push. Huge rocks really do jut out of the ocean way out there.
The bonfire with the white fallen log where Bella and Jacob sat and talked in the first book. At least in my mind this is what it would look like.
It is SO beautiful out there.
I got to watch the sun set :)
Everyone was so nice, too. I loved it out there.

I had a wonderful time visiting Forks and I can't wait to go back again one day.
